Delete your PoGo Alley account
You can delete your account yourself in the app, or ask us to do it by email. Asking by email works without the app installed.
Delete it in the app
Open PoGo Alley on your phone, or sign in at pogoalley.com. Tap your profile picture to open the account menu, choose Delete account, then confirm. Your account is deleted straight away. This can't be undone.
Ask us to delete it
Email hanwong118@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my PoGo Alley account" and tell us the email address you sign in with.
We then email that sign-in address to confirm. We delete the account only after a reply from that address confirms the request, so nobody else can delete your account by asking for it.
If you can no longer reach your sign-in email address, say so, and attach a screenshot of your ME screen in Pokémon GO (tap your avatar) that shows your trainer name and level. Both must match your PoGo Alley account. You can send this from any email address. We check it before deleting anything.
Once the request is confirmed, we delete the account within 7 days and email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
Everything linked to your account in our app:
Your sign-in record, including your email address.
Your trainer profile: username, team, level, friend code, bio, social handles and avatar.
Your For Trade and Looking For lists.
Your messages and trade offers, sent and received. Those chats also disappear from the app for the trainers you talked to.
Photos you sent in chat.
Your leaderboard stats and the log of stats you submitted.
Vouches you gave and got, and any blocks or reports involving your account.
Feedback you sent, including any screenshots you attached.
Your notification settings, push notification tokens, email notification records, and the Discord message channel we used to alert you.
What we keep
Copies in backups and service logs at our hosting and email providers are removed on their normal cycle, within 30 days.
Payment records kept by Stripe, Apple, Google and RevenueCat, as those companies and the law require.
Your Pro subscription
If you subscribed on pogoalley.com, deleting your account cancels that web subscription automatically.
If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app, deleting your account does not cancel it. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled in the store. Steps for each are on the Support page.
