Child safety standards

PoGo Alley is a place for Pokémon GO trainers to arrange trades and chat about them. It is for people aged 13 and over. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, and we act on it immediately.
What is not allowed
Any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a child is banned. That includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual messages to or about minors, asking a minor for images, personal details or a meeting, and using trades or gifts to build trust with a minor for harmful purposes.
How to report it
In the app, open the trainer's profile or your conversation with them, tap the menu (top right) and choose Report, then Block if you want to stop all contact. You can also email hanwong118@gmail.com with the subject "Child safety report". If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What we do
Every report is reviewed. Child safety reports are handled first. When we find CSAE content or behaviour we remove the content, permanently ban the account and preserve what the law requires us to keep for investigators.
We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities in the reporter's or offender's country, as the law requires, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests.
Keeping chats safer
Anyone can block a trainer, which stops messages both ways and removes them from matches. Trades happen inside Pokémon GO, so there is never a reason to move a conversation to another app, share an address or meet in person. Trainers on our scammer registry carry a warning on their profile and in chat.
